Salinas Self Storage has completed a six-month renovation, creating one of the most secure and comprehensive self storage facilities in Monterey County. The upgrades include modern, clean units, each individually alarmed, monitored, and equipped with fire-safe sprinklers. The expansion also added new RV and boat storage, giving customers even more ways to protect their vehicles.
Conveniently located just off the new Sala Road exit along Highway 101, our facility is easy to reach whether you’re coming from the north or south. We serve Salinas and surrounding communities, including Prunedale, Castroville, Gonzales, Royal Oaks, Marina, and Monterey.
We’re celebrating our new expansion with a community gathering on Tuesday, October 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event will feature live music, a food truck, and activities for all ages. The Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and the Salinas Valley Chamber will join us for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
During the celebration, we’ll also introduce our new charity partner, Gil’s Basketball Academy, a local program dedicated to mentoring youth and providing positive opportunities. From October 29 through November 30, 10% of all new rental proceeds (up to $1,000) will be donated to support their mission.
Salinas Self Storage is locally owned and operated by Nancy Spencer and Mike House. Nancy, a retired teacher and lifelong Salinas resident, founded the facility with her late husband Gene in 1999. Today, she and Mike continue to focus on providing outstanding service, with an on-site manager for added peace of mind.
We are the only storage facility in town to offer free carry-in service for new customers, and our friendly team is always here to make your storage experience as easy as possible.
